Natural Rubber called Latex is white milk like Solution which upon coagulation with some chemicals called Ribbed Smoked Sheets, possesses qualities like Abrasion Resistant, Durability and High elasticity. Synthetic Substitutes on the other hand exhibit one or more specific Property depending on the type of Synthetic elastomer used.

Chloroprene / Poly-chloroprene or commonly called "Neoprene" is a special & commonly used synthetic Elastomer & is highly resistant to heat, temperature & Ageing. Silicone, a soft & elastic material is resistant to high temperature of the order of up to 300 degrees Celsius. EPDM resist weather, ageing & Nitrile on the other hand electricity & gas.
