METRO RUBBER CORPORATION -Industrial Rubber Sheets
Metro Rubber Corporation (formerly known as Tata Rubber Corporation) is a well-known customer-centric organization that has been engaged in the rubber industry for over four decades. Established in the year 1983, the company has established a reputed name in the rubber and polymer domain, same being affirmative by the prestigious clientele that includes some of the most famous corporate brands in India and overseas like ISRO, Birla Corporation, Tata Sons, Vedanta Group, HUL, Reliance, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, Power Grid Corporation of India, L&T, HPCL, Jindal Steel, and many more. We are manufacturer and supplier of rubber products, predominantly sheets and mats.
Rubber sheets are flexible, evenly vulcanized rubber in uniform thicknesses. These are mainly used in industries and machines for gaskets, slip-resistant flooring, anti-vibration mounts, oil and temperature-resistant pads, electrical-thermal insulation, controlling noise-sound, and seals for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Rubber sheets offered by us have a glossy, smooth finish. The homogeneously blended compound is vulcanized using a rotary curing press, which ensures uniform thickness throughout the material. As in the case of preparing seals or gaskets, deviations in thickness above tolerances can lead to joint failure due to the minute gap left by uneven contact between the two mating surfaces.
The basic raw material for our industry is raw rubber, which can be natural or synthetic. Natural rubber is extracted from special plants, whereas synthetic rubbers are petroleum by-products. Most rubber, when heated in the presence of sulfur along with additives, accelerators, fillers, plasticizers, and certain chemicals, becomes hard as well as more elastic and durable. This process is called curing or vulcanization. It improves hardness, tensile strength, tear strength, elasticity, compressibility, and abrasion resistance.
Synthetic rubbers have elastic properties similar to natural rubber, apart from one or more special properties; e.g., silicone can withstand extremely high and low temperatures. EPDM can endure all weather conditions, including UV, ozone, and sunlight. Nitrile doesn’t decay in petroleum-based oils and fuels. Neoprene is resistant to chemicals, heat, abrasion, and flames.
We also produce molded and extruded profiles as per the project's or customer’s requirements. We have a team of experienced professionals who emphasize quality and timely delivery.
Furthermore, we offer flexible solutions for all your regular and customized requirements.
