Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer or commonly known as EPDM comes under a class of Synthetic Rubber. These are derived during Refining of Crude Oil. Unlike unsaturated Rubbers such as Natural , SBR, Silicone or Neoprene EPDM belongs to Saturated Polymer family thus more resistant to Heat, Temperate (both high & low), Sunlight & Ozone. This make it eligible to be used in Harsh environments.
Features:
Synthetic rubber was earlier developed as a substitute of Natural Rubber but due to its better performance in certain specific conditions like resistant to Weather, Climate, Ageing, Ozone, Temperature it is now being preferred over Natural Rubber at areas which are more Prone to such conditions.
Application:
EPDM Rubber is expensively used in automobiles for door Seals, window seals, bidding, Lining of Water Reservoirs, Water Proofing of Roofs, Face safety Masks & at area of high Temperature.
Composition:
Manufactured with Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer along with Carbon Black, filler & Rubber Processing Chemicals.
Size:

Technical Specifications:
EPDM Rubber Sheets are manufactured as per the following Specifications & Variations depend on requirement at area of usage.
EPDM Rubber Sheets are mostly recommended where sheets are subject to unfavorable weather conditions and are required for a long term service. EPDM Rubber profiles used in Door-Window Seals in Home, Offices, and Automobiles are also manufactured by us. Sponge (micro-cellular Rubber) Sheets & Profiles are also available with us in EPDM Rubber.
Q: Does EPDM is available in Sponge form?
A: Yes, EPDM Profiles are available in both Solid & Sponge form, interestingly for making Automotive & Industrial Rubber Beading/Profiles EPDM Rubber is preferred. As it is resistant to abrasion, moisture & whether.
